In this release we redesigned the Historical Price Map. It already existed in Mapaprop as a beta, and we rewrote almost the entire thing to turn it into a daily-use tool, better integrated into your workflow.
Where the map data comes from
The map combines two sources:
- Your own activity in Mapaprop: the properties you publish, the price changes you apply to them, and the operations you close (sales and rentals).
- The aggregated activity of other Mapaprop customers, anonymized.
The logic is straightforward: the more activity you have in Mapaprop (more properties loaded, more price changes, more operations closed), the more data you contribute to the system, and the more representative the statistics you later consult become. It is information built through use.
What you see on the map
You always start from a selected date range, and within that range you can:
- Zoom in and out across the geographic area.
- Filter by operation type (sale or rent).
- Filter by property type (apartment, house, lot, etc.).
- See, per zone, the aggregated value and the trend for the period.
The Historical Price Map is available from the Mapaprop Plus plan onward. Full documentation at the Help Center.
The system also includes a quick mechanism to report incorrect data or data that distorts the statistic. Every report you send lets us review the data point and refine the area information.
Price history per property
Beyond the map, inside the property record you can now check its own price history: when it was listed, every change made, date and amount. It is the traceability that was missing to answer concrete questions in front of a client without jumping between screens. It works automatically: every time you edit the price, it gets recorded.
Pricing when listing a new property
When you list a new property, Mapaprop uses the same historical price system to suggest a rough pricing range, based on the area, property type and its characteristics.
It is not a formal appraisal and does not replace a professional. It is a starting point based on real data, so you can begin the conversation with the owner or validate your own judgment before publishing.

What is coming
The Historical Price Map is the first layer of a bigger goal: that Mapaprop gives you not only operational tools but also commercial intelligence tools. What follows is aggregated indicators per area, absorption comparisons and trend reports.
