Every MercadoLibre inquiry, in your Inbox

When someone interacts with one of your MercadoLibre listings, their inquiry appears automatically in your Mapaprop Inbox within seconds. Both the public questions on the listing and the leads generated through the various contact channels MercadoLibre offers arrive in a single unified inbox.

Each inquiry comes with a yellow "MercadoLibre" tag and a badge identifying the lead type, so you can distinguish it instantly from your website, network, or other channel messages.

Answer a public question, directly from Mapaprop

MercadoLibre questions have special rules: you can only send one answer per question, it's public, it stays visible on the listing for everyone, and it can't be edited. That's why when you enter the answer screen, Mapaprop shows you a panel with those rules clearly displayed above the text box, as a reminder.

The answer box is integrated into the conversation chat. While there's no answer yet, the send button shows in yellow — MercadoLibre's color — reminding you that this first answer goes to MercadoLibre. When you send it, Mapaprop asks for confirmation (the answer can't be edited), publishes the answer on MercadoLibre's public listing automatically, and marks it as Published on ML in your conversation.

From then on, the button turns green and you can continue the conversation through private email from Mapaprop, without going through MercadoLibre. One public answer on ML to comply with the platform, and afterwards free conversation with the lead as always.

When you already answered from the MercadoLibre app

If you prefer to answer from MercadoLibre's panel or official app directly, no problem. Mapaprop detects the answer automatically within seconds and syncs it to your conversation with the Answered on ML tag. No duplication, no conflict, nothing to do.

And if by mistake you try to answer from Mapaprop something you already answered on ML, Mapaprop warns you, pulls the existing answer and shows it in the conversation. There's always one single public answer, always up to date.

Direct contact leads

For leads that aren't questions, MercadoLibre shares the inquirer's details with you (name, email, phone) and expects you to reach out through the appropriate channel. There's no public answer for these cases.

Mapaprop shows direct shortcuts inside the message bubble to start the contact without wasting time: tap a button and the relevant tool opens (call, messaging, or email) with the inquirer's data already loaded. No copying numbers or addresses by hand.

The subsequent conversation happens in the tool you chose, as expected — the value is that every lead stays organized in the Mapaprop Inbox and accessible whenever you need it.

Your MercadoLibre reputation, taken care of automatically

MercadoLibre evaluates your seller profile based on your average response time and the percentage of questions you answer. A good reputation positions you better in search results and generates more inquiries.

With this integration:

• Inquiries arrive in your Inbox in seconds, you don't have to refresh MercadoLibre.
• You can answer from your phone, tablet, or computer, without opening the MercadoLibre app.
• If for some reason the real-time webhook doesn't make it, a backup system recovers inquiries every hour, so nothing gets lost.
• If you answer from MercadoLibre directly, Mapaprop syncs it anyway. You're always up to date.

Availability

The MercadoLibre Messages and Inbox integration is available starting today for all accounts with Plus or higher that have their MercadoLibre account connected. No additional configuration required — it activates automatically.

If you haven't connected your MercadoLibre account yet, you can do so from Settings > Connected Accounts > MercadoLibre. Remember that to publish real estate on MercadoLibre your account must be of the Real Estate type.
